What Is an Affiliate Link?

Some links on this website — including buttons like "Visit ChatGPT" or "Try Midjourney" — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up for a paid plan, the vendor pays us a commission.

What It Costs You

Nothing. The price you pay is identical whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor's website. In some cases, our links may even unlock a discount.

Does It Affect Our Ratings?

No. Commissions never influence our scores, rankings or verdicts. Our editorial team:

• Purchases every tool with our own money before reviewing
• Uses standardized tests that are identical for every product
• Never accepts payment for placement, higher scores or positive coverage
• Re-tests tools after major updates and adjusts scores down when warranted

As of October 2026, we hold (or are applying for) affiliate relationships with AI tool vendors whose products appear in our reviews, including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Midjourney, ElevenLabs and Runway. This list grows as we review more tools.
